“Love Coins”

It was a few days after the Inauguration in 2017. I was at the bus stop, on my way to work, and there on the ground was this wooden coin:

I thought about how interesting it was that someone had made these coins with this nice, inspirational saying, and how good it made me feel to find it. I poked around online to find the source of the coin, but came up with nothing.

I got on the bus, and thought more about this cool wooden coin and thought I would like to get some coins made with some kind of saying — something that would make people feel good when they found it.

And about 5 minutes into the bus ride, I had it — Love Is Where You Find It.

What does it MEAN, you ask? It means whatever you want it to mean. I think if I found a wooden coin that said this, it would make me feel really good! I didn’t want to analyze it too much. I loved it, and I was doing it.

I was taught to “do unto others as you would have them do unto you”, and this was perfect. It would make me happy to find one, and I wanted to make other people happy too! Again, this was right after the…
